Briteyellow proudly took its place at the top table of technology thinkers at the Smart City Expo World Congress.

The fifth annual world congress was held at the Gran Via Exhibition Centre, in Barcelona, attracting visitors from around the world.

Briteyellow, based in the UK, attended to showcase its cutting edge BriteLocate3D indoor location and positioning platform. BriteLocate3D uses high-resolution virtual reality on a smartphone to navigate users to their indoor destination.

It features accurate position systems for visitor interaction, wayfinding, and navigation, whilst converting large 3D datasets and wireless sensor data into real time movement dashboard, and ‘heatmaps’.

The Congress, held from November 17-19, showcased Smart Society, Technology, Governance, Energy, Mobility and Sustainable City. It is widely recognised as the world’s leading smart city congress.

Fredi Nonyelu, Chief Executive of Briteyellow, said: “Technological developments such as BriteLocate3D, which helps people navigate in large enclosed areas, have the potential to transform the way we live, shop, travel and interact.

“It was incredibly inspiring for Briteyellow to be among more than 300 of the most innovative and influential smart city thinkers in the world.”
