Briteyellow’s founder and chief executive Fredi Nonyelu did his bit to encourage technology entrepreneurs of the future at the Santander Awards Day held at The Open University.

Fredi outlined how he had built Cranfield-based Briteyellow from scratch in 2006 into a global leader in the emerging technology of Mixed Reality with the BriteLocate3D indoor positioning and navigation platform.

Fredi, who is a post-graduate alumnus of both Cranfield Business School and Cranfield Institute of Technology (Cranfield University), said: “It was an absolute pleasure for me to speak and present the Santander Entrepreneurship Awards at this event.

“I hope that my experience will help to inspire the next generation of leaders. It is an exciting time to be in business and I wish all our budding entrepreneurs all the best in their endeavours.”

The event was held by the OU Research and Enterprise Unit as a part of The Open University and Santander Universities UK partnership on July 26, 2017.
