Fredi Nonyelu chairs MK Chamber's Business & IT Network
Fredi Nonyelu, founder of wireless telecoms innovator Briteyellow, has been elected to the chair of Milton Keynes Chamber’s Business and Technology Network, the special interest group which promotes the benefits of information technology to the businesses of the new city.
Now in its third year the group, under Fredi’s chairmanship, will be broadening its remit in order to network with some of the larger technology companies in the area.
“The Business and Technology Network has historically concentrated on the needs of the smaller and medium sized companies in Milton Keynes, and we will continue to provide them with the information that they need to use new technology in the most efficient and cost effective way,” said Fredi.
“But we also want to communicate with some of the larger enterprises and in particular those who work within them and haven’t traditionally been part of Milton Keynes’ networking. By enabling these professional to talk to one another and share experiences and expertise, we can help to harness the combined knowledge of MK’s IT industry and make it a driving force for innovation in the city.”
The network’s committee has just launched an E-Group to enable easier communication between the information and communications technology professionals in Milton Keynes. Further information about the Business and Technology Network is available on www.mk-chamber.co.uk or by contacting Andrew Catling on 01908 259000.
